Miles Overview
The CX-3 is Mazda's smallest crossover, a subcompact wagon that trades a bit of cargo space for a more engaging drive than most rivals. It handles like a hot hatch, with quick steering and a willing chassis that makes it genuinely fun on a back road. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for that sharp handling, but it stays composed over most surfaces. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the price, though rear legroom is tight and cargo space is modest. The Sport is the trim for shoppers who want the CX-3's fun handling without the extra cost of the Touring's upgraded interior trim. Its 2.0L I4 makes 146 horsepower and works with the six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving it a peppy feel around town and 29 mpg combined.
