Miles Overview
The CX-3 is Mazda's smallest crossover, a subcompact that's more fun to drive than most in its class. Its light weight and sharp steering make it feel eager in corners, though the ride is firm over rough pavement. The cabin is nicely trimmed for the price, but rear legroom is tight and cargo space is modest. A 7-inch touchscreen with Mazda's rotary controller comes standard, and Apple CarPlay is available on higher trims. The Grand Touring is the luxury pick of the CX-3 lineup, adding leather upholstery and a Bose stereo that the Touring skips. It runs the same 2.0L I4 as every CX-3, making 148 horsepower through a six-speed automatic and getting 31 mpg combined. Only the Grand Touring gets standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, plus the option of heated front seats.
