Miles Overview
The CX-3 is Mazda's smallest crossover, a subcompact wagon that trades a bit of cargo space for a more engaging drive than most rivals. It handles like a hot hatch, with quick steering and a willing chassis that makes it genuinely fun on a back road. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for that sharp handling, but it stays composed over most surfaces. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the price, though rear legroom is tight and cargo space is modest. Stepping up to the Touring adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring, and a 7-inch touchscreen that the Sport leaves out. Its 2.0L I4 makes 146 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which is enough to keep the CX-3 feeling eager around town and on the highway.
