Miles Overview
The Mazda5 is a compact minivan-like wagon that seats six, a rare choice if you want sliding doors without a full-size van. It handles like a much smaller car, with quick steering and a willing 4-cylinder that's happy to rev around town. Both rear sliding doors make tight parking lots easy, and folding the rear seats opens up a surprisingly big cargo area. Owners note the manual sliding doors can get harder to operate over time, and the third row is best left to kids. The Grand Touring is the top Mazda5, adding leather seats and a sunroof that the Touring skips. Only the Grand Touring gets the auto-dimming rearview mirror and rain-sensing wipers, small touches that make daily driving easier.
