Miles Overview
The 2024 Mazda3 is a compact car available as a sedan or hatchback, with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. It competes with the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Hyundai Elantra, but brings a more premium feel than most rivals. The Mazda3's steering is quick and accurate, and the chassis feels eager through corners. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for its sharp handling, but it remains composed on most roads. Inside, the cabin is a standout with high-quality materials and a clean, driver-focused layout. Extra standard equipment like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert set the 2.5 S hatchback apart from the base S. Its 2.5L I4 makes 191 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic driving the front wheels, earning 30 mpg combined.
