Miles Overview
The RSX is Acura's sporty compact hatchback, a direct successor to the Integra that shares its front-wheel-drive platform with the Civic Si. The i-VTEC engine loves to rev, and the six-speed manual in the Type S makes it genuinely engaging on a back road. Fold the rear seats and the hatchback swallows surprisingly large loads, though the back seat itself is tight for adults. Owners report the drivetrain is tough and maintenance is cheap, but the door lock actuators and taillight seals are common weak points. The Type S gets the bigger brakes, stiffer suspension, and a six-speed manual that the base car skips. The helical limited-slip differential from the A-Spec package is the one option that transforms how it puts power down.
