2019 Subaru Forester Touring

The 2019 Forester is a compact SUV that competes with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, but it stands apart with standard all-wheel drive. The Forester handles confidently on gravel and snow, though the engine is not quick; it is built for capability, not speed. The cabin is roomy and practical, with generous cargo space and a tall seating position that gives excellent visibility. The Touring is the top Forester trim, above the Sport and Limited, and adds leather upholstery, a power moonroof, and a heated steering wheel. Its 2.5L I4 makes 182 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, returning 29 mpg combined. Only the Touring offers the DriverFocus distraction-mitigation system, which uses a camera to monitor driver alertness.
