Miles Overview
The 2024 Forester is a compact SUV that prioritizes all-weather capability and practicality over outright style. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Mazda CX-5, but stands apart with standard all-wheel drive. The ride is composed and the steering is light, making the Forester easy to maneuver in town and on gravel roads. The cabin is roomy for four adults, with a tall greenhouse that provides excellent visibility in every direction. Subaru's EyeSight suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, is standard across the lineup. The Sport trim adds orange accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel over the Premium, while skipping the Limited's leather seats and power liftgate. Its 2.5L I4 makes 182 horsepower and pairs with a CVT and all-wheel drive, which returns 29 mpg combined. The Sport comes with dual-function X-MODE including Deep Snow/Mud, so you get more off-road control than the Limited or Touring offer.
