2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i Touring

The 2015 Forester is Subaru's compact SUV, slotting between the smaller Crosstrek and the larger Outback. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Mazda CX-5, but stands apart with standard all-wheel drive. The Forester drives with a car-like feel, and the turbo model delivers strong acceleration when you need it. The ride is composed and the seats are supportive, though the cabin lets in some road noise on coarse pavement. The cabin is roomy with a tall seating position, and the cargo area easily swallows boxes or folds flat for kayaks. Heated leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel set the 2.5i Touring apart from the Premium below it. The 2.5L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, getting 27 mpg combined.
