Miles Overview
The 2014 Forester is Subaru's compact SUV, offering standard all-wheel drive and a roomy cabin in a practical, upright body. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Mazda CX-5, but stands apart with its standard AWD and boxy utility. The Forester handles confidently with responsive steering and a composed ride, though the base engine can feel leisurely when merging. Cargo space is generous for the class, and the rear seats fold flat easily, making it a favorite for hauling gear or books. The 2.5i is the base Forester, saving you thousands over the Premium and Limited while keeping the same all-wheel-drive platform and cargo space.
