Miles Overview
The 2013 Forester is Subaru's compact SUV, a practical pick for buyers who need all-weather capability without a big footprint. The cabin is straightforward and a bit dated, but the rear seat folds flat easily and the cargo area swallows gear for a family trip. Owners report strong reliability, with the main gripes being soft paint and a windshield that can crack on rough roads. The Touring sits at the top of the non-turbo Forester range, adding niceties like a power moonroof and automatic climate control over the Premium. Expect a comfortable, car-like ride, with the trade-off being modest acceleration when you need to merge onto a highway.
