Miles Overview
The BRZ is Subaru's rear-wheel-drive coupe, a lightweight sports car built for driving joy rather than practicality. With a low center of gravity and quick steering, it feels eager and nimble on twisty roads, rewarding smooth inputs. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, so it's best as a second car or a weekend toy rather than a daily commuter. Subaru's reputation for durability carries over here, though the BRZ has had a few reports of transmission and engine issues in earlier years. Its 2.4L I4 makes 228 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, sending power to the rear wheels for a playful, balanced feel on a back road. The standard 17-inch wheels and summer tires give the Premium a slightly softer ride than the Limited, which is a good thing for daily use.
