Miles Overview
The BRZ is Subaru's rear-wheel-drive sports coupe, a rare two-door in a lineup otherwise known for all-wheel-drive practicality. It's the kind of car that makes you find the long way home, with sharp steering and a low center of gravity that begs for curves. The cabin is snug, especially in back, but the rear seats fold down to expand the trunk for weekend trips. Owners report few mechanical issues, though a noisy fuel pump and some interior rattles are known quirks. Rear-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential set the Premium apart from the rest of Subaru's lineup, and it's the lightest BRZ trim at 2,785 pounds. The 2.0L I4 makes 205 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, sending power to the rear wheels for a pure sports-car feel. The Premium rides on 17-inch wheels with summer tires, which grip well but can get noisy on coarse pavement.
