Miles Overview
The WRX is Subaru's compact sport sedan, the one with the rally-bred character that's been its calling card for years. It's a genuinely engaging car to drive, with sharp steering and a firm grip that makes back roads fun. The ride is on the stiff side, which is the trade-off for that handling sharpness. The cabin is practical and straightforward, with a big touchscreen and room for four adults. The GT is the top WRX trim, sitting above the Base, Premium, Limited, and TR, and it adds electronically controlled dampers and a drive-mode selector that the others don't get. It uses the same 2.4L I4 as the rest of the lineup, making 271 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, and the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive give it sure-footed traction in any weather. The GT's adaptive suspension lets you switch between comfort and sport modes, which is the one thing that sets its ride apart from the firmer-feeling lower trims.
