Miles Overview
The 2015 WRX is Subaru's compact performance sedan, the one enthusiasts cross-shop with the Ford Focus ST and VW GTI. It's the rare car that feels genuinely quick and eager, with sharp steering and a firm grip that makes back roads fun. The ride is on the stiff side, so you'll feel bumps, but that's the trade for how flat it corners. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and functional, with supportive seats and a usable trunk for a sedan. The Special Edition sits above the STI, adding unique touches like a carbon-fiber trunk spoiler and black 18-inch wheels. It shares the STI's 2.5L I4 with 305 horsepower and a six-speed manual, so you get the same punchy acceleration and mechanical feel. Exclusive to this trim, the STI's Driver Controlled Center Differential lets you fine-tune the torque split for different conditions.
