Miles Overview
The WRX is Subaru's compact performance sedan, the one you cross-shop with a Golf GTI if you want all-weather grip as much as straight-line speed. It's a sharp-handling sedan that rewards an aggressive drive, with the STI's big rear wing hinting at its track-ready character. The ride is firm and the cabin is on the simple side, which is the trade for how well it corners and how much road feel you get. You get a practical sedan body with a usable trunk and rear seats that fold, so it works as a daily driver between weekend drives. Its six-speed manual and all-wheel drive deliver 268 horsepower with a sharp throttle response, and you'll see 23 mpg combined} if you keep your right foot in check.
