Miles Overview
Inside, the Impreza offers a roomy cabin for its size, with a surprisingly large cargo area in the hatchback that makes it practical for everyday hauling. Some owners have noted minor rattles from the heat shield or A/C, and the paint can chip easily, but these are typical for this era. The Premium trim adds alloy wheels and a few convenience upgrades over the base 2.0i, making it the pick for buyers who want a bit more polish without jumping to the Limited. Its 2.0L automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels via Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in slippery conditions without sacrificing everyday drivability. The Premium can be had with a continuously variable transmission, which helps keep the engine in its sweet spot for fuel economy but can drone under hard acceleration.
