Miles Overview
The 2009 Impreza is Subaru's compact car, offered as a sedan or hatchback, and it competes with the Civic and Corolla. It's genuinely fun to drive, with sharp steering and a composed feel that makes it enjoyable on twisty roads. The hatchback is surprisingly roomy, with a large cargo area that folds flat for hauling big items. The WRX Premium splits the difference between the base WRX and the hardcore STI, adding a power moonroof and upgraded audio without the STI's stiffer suspension and higher price. Its 2.5L I4 makes 265 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque, sent through a five-speed manual to all-wheel drive, and it returns 21 mpg combined.
