Miles Overview
The 2007 Impreza is Subaru's compact sedan and wagon, the model that anchors the brand's all-wheel-drive reputation. It's genuinely fun to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels planted on twisty roads and in the wet. The cabin is roomier than the exterior suggests, and the wagon's rear seats fold flat for impressive cargo space. Owners report strong reliability with routine maintenance, though some note minor rattles and paint chips over time. Stepping up from the 2.5i to the WRX brings a much stronger engine and sport-tuned suspension, so you get real performance without giving up the all-wheel-drive security. The 2.5L with five-speed manual and all-wheel drive makes the WRX quick off the line and sure-footed in corners, and it still manages reasonable fuel economy for the performance. The WRX's firmer springs and thicker anti-roll bars are the trade for its sharper handling, so expect a stiffer ride on rough pavement.
