Miles Overview
It's nimble in corners and feels light on its feet, which makes it genuinely fun to drive on a back road. The cabin is basic with some cheap-feeling plastics, and road noise gets loud above 50 mph. Owners report strong reliability with only routine maintenance needed, though the rear seats are bolted in and limit cargo flexibility. The WRX gives up the Outback Sport's raised suspension and hatchback versatility, but you get a much sharper driving experience and the sedan body is lighter and more rigid. Its 2.0L pairs with a five-speed manual and all-wheel drive, giving it quick reflexes and tenacious grip that make it a genuine driver's car in any weather. The WRX's stiffer springs and firmer bushings mean the ride is busy on rough pavement, which is the trade-off for how flat it stays through a corner.
