Miles Overview
Fiat's 124 Spider is a two-seat roadster, the Italian cousin of the Mazda MX-5 Miata. It's a joy on a twisty road, with sharp steering and a playful rear-drive balance. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it corners. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the manual soft top is easy to drop by hand. Its 1.4L I4 makes 160 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed manual to the rear wheels, and it returns 30 mpg combined. The Touring Suspension is standard here, so expect a compliant ride that still keeps body roll in check on back roads.
