Miles Overview
The Outlander is Mitsubishi's compact SUV, a seven-seater that undercuts most rivals on price. It rides smoothly over rough pavement, which owners appreciate in construction zones. The cabin is roomy for five, with a usable third row that folds flat when you need cargo space. Some owners mention the ECO mode holds gears longer than expected, and the key fob can be finicky. The GT is the top gas trim, with a stronger V6 and standard all-wheel drive over the four-cylinder ES and SEL. Its 3.0L I4 makes 224 horsepower, driven through a six-speed automatic that shifts smoothly and keeps the engine in its sweet spot.
