Miles Overview
The 2024 Outlander is Mitsubishi's compact SUV, slotting between the smaller Eclipse Cross and the larger Montero Sport in the brand's lineup. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue, offering a distinctive style and a longer warranty than most. The Outlander rides smoothly and handles predictably, with a comfortable demeanor that suits daily commuting and family trips. Inside, the cabin offers a modern design with available three-row seating, making it one of the few in its class to offer seven-passenger capacity. The ES is the base Outlander, but it still comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder and standard all-wheel drive, which many rivals charge extra for. The 2.5L I4 makes 181 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, delivering adequate power for daily driving while returning 26 mpg combined.
