Miles Overview
The 2022 Outlander is Mitsubishi's three-row family SUV, slotting above the Eclipse Cross and Outlander Sport in size and price. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue, though it offers a third row that most rivals lack. The Outlander's steering is light and its ride is composed, making it easy to maneuver in the city and on the highway. The cabin features a modern dashboard and available quilted leather, with a spacious second row and a useful third row for occasional use. A large touchscreen infotainment system and standard driver-assistance features like forward collision mitigation are included on all trims. The SE is the sweet spot for most families, adding heated seats and a power driver seat that the ES lacks, while skipping the SEL's premium audio and leather. Its 2.5L I4 pairs with a CVT and two-wheel drive, delivering 27 mpg combined and a composed ride that's easy to live with daily.
