Miles Overview
The Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi's compact crossover, a five-seat SUV that slots below the Outlander in size and price. It's a comfortable daily driver with a smooth ride, though the base engine can feel a bit sluggish when merging onto highways. The cabin is straightforward and functional, with decent space for four adults and a rear seat that slides to free up cargo room. Standard tech includes a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of active safety features. Stepping up from the ES to the LE adds alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic climate control, plus the option of all-wheel drive. The 1.5L I4 makes 152 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission; with all-wheel drive it returns 25 mpg combined. The LE's all-wheel-drive system sends power to the rear wheels when it detects slip, giving you extra grip in rain or snow.
