Miles Overview
The Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi's compact crossover, a five-seat SUV that competes with the Honda HR-V and Subaru Crosstrek. Handling is tidy and the steering feels direct, making it easy to place in tight spots, though the ride is a bit firm over rough pavement. The cabin is roomy up front with a split rear seat that slides and reclines, and cargo space is decent for the class. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver assists like forward collision warning. The LE trims the price over the SEL but still adds key features over the base ES, with alloy wheels and a larger touchscreen as standard. Its 1.5L I4 generates 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, sent through a automatic transmission to all-wheel drive for confident traction on wet or loose roads. Split-folding rear seats slide and recline, so you can trade legroom for cargo space when needed.
