Miles Overview
The Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi's compact crossover, a five-seat SUV that competes with the Honda HR-V and Subaru Crosstrek. Handling is tidy and the steering feels direct, making it easy to place in tight spots, though the ride is a bit firm over rough pavement. The cabin is roomy up front with a split rear seat that slides and reclines, and cargo space is decent for the class. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver assists like forward collision warning. The LE adds a larger touchscreen and keyless entry over the base ES, along with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 1.5L I4 makes 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with a automatic transmission and front-wheel drive that returns 26 mpg combined.
