Miles Overview
The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi's smallest SUV, slotting below the Outlander and Eclipse Cross in the compact crossover class. It competes with subcompact crossovers like the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Kia Seltos. The Outlander Sport handles city streets with ease, though its modest engine means highway merging requires planning. The ride is composed over smooth pavement, but the cabin lets in noticeable road noise on coarse surfaces. Inside, the Outlander Sport offers a straightforward layout with comfortable front seats and a decent amount of cargo space for its size. Black 18-inch wheels and red interior accents set the Ralliart apart from the LE and SEL trims below it. The 2.0L I4 makes 148 horsepower and pairs with a continuously variable transmission and four-wheel drive, which is fine for around-town driving but feels strained on the highway.
