Miles Overview
The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi's compact crossover, the smallest SUV in their lineup and a budget pick in a segment full of pricier rivals. It's a simple, easygoing crossover that's more about comfort than excitement, and the ride is on the soft side to soak up rough pavement. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and functional, with plenty of headroom up front and a rear seat that folds flat for extra cargo space. Mitsubishi's reputation for dependability carries over here, and the 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty is a big reason buyers stick with it. The ES is the base Outlander Sport, trading the GT's stronger 2.4-liter engine for a 2.0-liter that's smoother but slower, and saving you a few thousand dollars in the process.
