Miles Overview
The Outlander is Mitsubishi's compact SUV, a roomy five-seater with an optional third row in some trims. It's not quick, but the ride is smooth and the steering is light, making it easy to maneuver around town. The cabin is straightforward and practical, with plenty of space for five adults and their gear. Second-row seats fold flat to open up a large cargo area, and some trims add a third row for extra passengers. The SE adds a power driver's seat, heated front seats, and a larger touchscreen over the base ES, giving you the most popular comfort upgrades without stepping up to the SEL. It uses the 2.4L I4 making 166 horsepower paired with a automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, which is smooth and easy to drive around town but won't win any races. The SE can be ordered with all-wheel drive, which Mitsubishi calls Super All-Wheel Control, and it makes a real difference in rain or light snow.
