2024 Mazda CX-50 S Preferred Package

The 2024 Mazda CX-50 is a compact SUV that slots between the CX-5 and CX-9, offering a more rugged, outdoorsy take on the brand's usual on-road focus. The CX-50 handles with the sharp steering and composed body control Mazda is known for, making it one of the more engaging compact SUVs to drive. The ride is firm and tied down, which pays off in cornering but means you'll feel sharper impacts on rough pavement. Inside, the CX-50 features a clean, upscale cabin with quality materials and a straightforward layout, though rear legroom is merely average for the class. The S Preferred Package adds heated front seats and a power driver's seat over the Select, while skipping the Premium's leather and Bose audio. Its 2.5L I4 makes 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, good for 27 mpg combined. This trim includes a power liftgate with programmable height, handy when your hands are full of gear.
