Miles Overview
The 2024 Mazda CX-50 is a compact SUV that slots between the CX-5 and CX-9, offering a more rugged, outdoorsy take on the brand's usual on-road focus. The CX-50 handles with the sharp steering and composed body control Mazda is known for, making it one of the more engaging compact SUVs to drive. The ride is firm and tied down, which pays off in cornering but means you'll feel sharper impacts on rough pavement. Inside, the CX-50 features a clean, upscale cabin with quality materials and a straightforward layout, though rear legroom is merely average for the class. The base S Select Package is the entry point to the CX-50 range, sitting below the S Preferred and S Premium trims and skipping some comfort upgrades like power seats and a larger screen. This trim rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels and includes roof rails, but you give up the power-adjustable driver's seat and upgraded audio found on higher trims.
