Miles Overview
The S60 is Volvo's compact luxury sedan, the one you cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It drives with a calm, composed feel that suits daily commuting, though it's not as sharp as its German rivals. Inside, the S60 has a minimalist Scandinavian cabin with comfortable seats and a clean, easy-to-use infotainment system. As a sedan, the S60 offers a decent trunk, but rear headroom is a bit tight for taller passengers. The B5 Inscription is the comfort-focused trim, with softer suspension tuning and more chrome accents than the sportier R-Design. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid makes 247 horsepower and uses a mild-hybrid system to smooth out stop-start and recover a bit of energy, earning 30 mpg combined. The Inscription trim adds leather upholstery, wood inlays, and a power-operated passenger seat as standard, giving the cabin a more upscale feel.
