Miles Overview
The S60 is Volvo's compact luxury sedan, the one you'd cross-shop with an Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series. It drives with a composed, planted feel, and the steering is nicely weighted for everyday use. Inside, the cabin is a calm, minimalist space with comfortable seats and a clean, easy-to-use touchscreen. It's a sedan only, so you get a proper trunk rather than a hatch, and rear legroom is decent for the class. The R-Design is the sporty pick in the S60 lineup, with a stiffer suspension and sharper looks than the Inscription. Its 2.0L I4 makes 316 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for confident all-weather grip. Expect a firmer ride than the standard S60, which is the trade-off for the R-Design's sharper handling.
