2019 Volvo S60 T5 Inscription

The S60 is Volvo's compact luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a calm, quiet cruiser that feels more at home on the highway than on a twisty back road. The ride is smooth and the cabin stays hushed at speed, though the suspension is on the soft side and body roll shows up in corners. Inside, you get a clean Scandinavian dashboard with a large touchscreen, plus plenty of room for four adults. Luxury-oriented details like genuine wood inlays and a leather-trimmed dashboard mark out the Inscription from the sportier R-Design or the simpler Momentum. The 2.0L I4 produces 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to the front wheels. It achieves 28 mpg combined on premium fuel, a reasonable number for a compact luxury sedan with this much standard comfort equipment.
