Miles Overview
The R1T is Rivian's all-electric pickup, a full-size truck with a unibody design that sets it apart from traditional body-on-frame rivals. It handles more like a sporty crossover than a big truck, with quick steering and a composed ride that belies its size. The bed is a bit shorter than some competitors, but the gear tunnel behind the cab adds clever enclosed storage. A large touchscreen controls most functions, and over-the-air updates keep adding features and improving performance. Its dual-motor all-wheel drive makes 533 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, which is plenty for quick highway merges and confident off-road crawling. The Adventure trim comes with the gear tunnel and a full-size spare as standard, and you can add the off-road package for underbody shielding and all-terrain tires.
