2024 Rivian R1T Adventure

The R1T is Rivian's electric pickup, the one that proved an EV could be a real workhorse and a weekend toy at the same time. It drives with the instant shove of an EV, and the quad-motor setup gives it a party trick: it can turn in place like a tank. The air suspension soaks up broken pavement on the highway and then lifts for clearance when the road turns to dirt. Inside, the cabin feels modern and airy, with a big touchscreen and a gear tunnel that adds clever storage behind the cab. The Adventure is the trim most buyers choose, with the same dual-motor powertrain as the Launch Edition but a lower starting price. Its dual-motor all-wheel drive makes 533 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, enough to hit 60 in about 3.5 seconds while still hauling a load.
