Miles Overview
The X4 M is BMW's high-performance take on the X4, a compact SUV coupe that trades some rear cargo space for a sleeker roofline. It's brutally quick and feels more like a sports car than an SUV, with a firm, controlled ride that keeps body roll in check. The all-wheel-drive system and adaptive suspension make it surprisingly agile on twisty roads, though the steering could use a bit more feel. Inside, you get a driver-focused cockpit with supportive sport seats and BMW's iDrive system, which is easy to navigate once you learn the rotary controller. That engine pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive to launch you to 60 mph in about four seconds, though you'll see 16 mpg combined at the pump.
