Miles Overview
The 2012 X6 M is BMW's high-performance take on the X6, a coupe-styled SUV that blends sports car ambitions with all-weather capability. The cabin is snug for four, with a sloping roofline that cuts into rear headroom and cargo space, but the front seats are superb and materials feel premium. Expect hefty running costs, from premium fuel to pricey tires and maintenance, which is typical for a high-performance BMW of this era. The X6 M comes as a single high-performance trim, with no lesser sibling to compare it to in the lineup. You get a sport-tuned suspension and active anti-roll bars as standard, which keep this heavy SUV flat through corners at the cost of a firm ride.
