Miles Overview
The X5 M is BMW's high-performance version of its mid-size luxury SUV, aimed at buyers who want serious pace without giving up everyday practicality. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with supportive sport seats and a practical cargo area, plus a tech suite that includes iDrive, navigation, and a premium sound system. Stepping up to the X5 M from the standard X5 brings a 4.4L I8 with 555 horsepower, along with firmer suspension, bigger brakes, and unique exterior styling. The 4.4L I8 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering strong acceleration for a heavy SUV, though fuel economy is rated at 14 mpg combined. The X5 M's adaptive suspension firms up noticeably in Sport mode, which is the trade-off for the flat cornering you get when pushing it.
