Miles Overview
The X6 M is BMW's high-performance take on the X6, the coupe-styled SUV that trades some practicality for a sleeker profile. It's brutally quick in a straight line, and the all-wheel-drive system puts the power down with real confidence. Despite its size, it corners with surprising poise, though the firm ride is the price you pay for that capability. Inside, you get a sporty, well-built cabin with supportive seats and BMW's latest iDrive infotainment, but rear headroom is tight because of the sloping roof. The Competition sits above the standard X6 M, with more power and a sharper chassis tune for a firmer edge. Its 4.4L V8 makes 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, routed through eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for relentless acceleration, though it returns 15 mpg combined.
