Miles Overview
The X3 M is BMW's hottest compact SUV, the one that trades a bit of everyday civility for serious performance. It's genuinely quick and handles with a sharpness that surprises for an SUV, though the ride is firm and the steering is heavy. Inside, you get supportive M sport seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel, and a clean digital cockpit that's easy to live with. The cargo area is about average for the class, but the rear seats fold nearly flat to swallow bulky gear when you need it. this is the only X3 M: no milder Competition version to choose from, just one sharp setup. You'll see 17 mpg combined on the window sticker, so plan for frequent fuel stops if you use all that power.
