Miles Overview
The Model S is Tesla's flagship sedan, a large hatchback that competes with the Porsche Taycan and Lucid Air. The Plaid's acceleration is genuinely startling, and even the standard version feels quick off the line. The cabin is minimalist and airy, with a huge touchscreen and plenty of room for four adults. Running costs are low thanks to electric power, but the price of entry is high and insurance is pricey. A single rear motor sends 670 horsepower through a continuously variable automatic (CVT), which means instant response and strong passing power on the highway. You still get the big 17-inch touchscreen and hatchback practicality with 64.5 cubic feet of cargo space of cargo space, so it's just as useful as the Plaid.
