Miles Overview
The Santa Fe Sport is Hyundai's compact crossover, a size smaller than the three-row Santa Fe and aimed at families who want a bit more room than a Tucson. It steers crisply and feels lighter on its feet than most rivals, so it's genuinely enjoyable on a back road. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but it settles down nicely on the highway. The cabin is roomy for four adults, with a straightforward layout and a decent amount of cargo space behind the rear seats. Its 2.0L I4 makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic, and it'll give you 23 mpg combined with front-wheel drive.
