Miles Overview
The Santa Fe Sport is Hyundai's two-row midsize SUV, the one you'd cross-shop with a Ford Edge or Nissan Murano. It drives with a light, eager feel, and the steering is quick enough that it never feels like a big SUV. The ride is on the firm side, but it stays composed over broken pavement and settles quickly after bumps. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four adults, and the rear seats fold flat to open up a generous cargo bay. The 2.0L I4 makes 265 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, and it pulls strongly from low rpm, so merging and passing are effortless; the EPA rates it at 22 mpg combined. Available AWD adds grip in rain and light snow without dulling the eager steering feel, making it a worthwhile option for northern climates.
