Miles Overview
The 2021 Sorento is a midsize three-row SUV that takes on the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Ford Explorer. The Sorento drives with a composed, car-like feel, and the available all-wheel drive adds confidence in slippery conditions. Inside, the cabin offers comfortable seating for up to seven, with easy-folding second and third rows that expand cargo space quickly. Standard tech includes an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assistance features. Kia's strong warranty backs the Sorento, and owners report few major issues, though some note the third row is tight for adults. Stepping up to the S trim adds heated front seats, a power driver seat, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen over the LX. The 2.5L I4 makes 191 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission, giving the Sorento S smooth, steady power for daily driving; front-wheel drive helps keep weight and cost down. All-wheel drive is optional on the S, which adds a center locking differential for better traction in snow or gravel when you need it.
