Miles Overview
The Sorento is Kia's three-row midsize SUV, a family hauler that's a common pick alongside the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. It drives with a composed, car-like feel that's easy to live with, though the base engine can feel a bit sluggish when you need quick acceleration. The cabin is a real highlight for the price, with upscale materials and a big touchscreen that owners love for its seamless Bluetooth and crisp navigation. Reliability is generally solid, but a few owners have hit AC and sunroof glitches that were fixed under warranty. The EX skips the SX Limited's leather and premium audio, saving you a few thousand while keeping the same strong engine. Its 2.0L V4 makes 290 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you confident passing power on the highway. Only the EX offers a third-row seat as an option, making it the most affordable way to get seven seats in the Sorento.
