Miles Overview
The Sorento is Kia's three-row midsize SUV, a family hauler that's a common pick alongside the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. It drives with a composed, car-like feel that's easy to live with, though the base engine can feel a bit sluggish when you need quick acceleration. The cabin is a real highlight for the price, with upscale materials and a big touchscreen that owners love for its seamless Bluetooth and crisp navigation. Reliability is generally solid, but a few owners have hit AC and sunroof glitches that were fixed under warranty. Its 3.3L I6 makes 185 horsepower and works through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels, which is fine for around-town driving but feels strained on highway merges.
