Miles Overview
The 2019 Sorento is a midsize three-row SUV that slots between the compact Sportage and the larger Telluride. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Ford Explorer, offering a roomier cabin than most in its class. The Sorento rides smoothly and handles confidently, with a quiet cabin that makes highway trips relaxing. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the class, with comfortable seats, generous cargo space, and easy-to-use controls. Kia's warranty is a highlight, and while most owners report trouble-free miles, some have noted engine issues in earlier models. Its 2.4L I4 makes 185 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic, giving you 23 mpg combined on regular fuel. All-wheel drive is optional on the LX, and it adds a few hundred pounds but provides extra traction in snow or mud.
