Miles Overview
The Sorento is Kia's mid-size SUV, a three-row family hauler that competes with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. It rides smoothly and handles predictably, with a composed feel that makes it easy to drive every day. The cabin is roomy and practical, with a large cargo area that easily swallows bikes or gear for a weekend trip. Some owners have dealt with minor issues like a leaking A/C hose or steering fluid, though these were often covered under warranty. The SX trim adds a 3.5L V6, 18-inch alloy wheels, premium upholstery, and a sunroof over the EX, making it the top choice for comfort and power.
